He never really saw himself as an actor, but then when he visited the Philippines for a vacation, he was discovered by a talent scout and later on in 2005. He joined Pinoy Big Brother (season 1) and garnered a lot of fans with his shy and charming points.

In 2015, he held his 10th year anniversary concert at Kia Theatre.
